Apply for Basecamp Community Grants

Basecamp Community Grants are to fund events that strengthen the local ecosystem. We’re helping 10 community curators with the funds to put together unique events that Bengaluru has never seen before.

This grant is for you if:

1. You have an exciting idea for an event that would engage the community.

2. The format is fun, unique, and something that hasn't really been tried here before.

3. You don't have the funding to run it yourself, and that's the only thing standing in your way. You're willing to organize and run the event, if selected.

This grant is not for:

1. Product pitches, launches, demos, or any event whose real purpose is marketing a company or product.

2. Standard formats like panels, generic meetups, typical networking mixers with nothing new to intrigue people.

3. Events that already have funding or sponsorship lined up.
