Become a Basecamp Local

15 spots. One week. All access.
Basecamp is Bangalore's week-long tech fest with curated sessions, hands-on workshops, and idea exchanges at unconventional venues across the city. Basecamp Locals are hand-picked ambitious, creators in the room for all of it, covering the week, helping run it, and sending back what they actually saw.

Who we're looking for

✓ 1K – 50K followers on Twitter / X, Instagram, or LinkedIn

✓Active voice in the startup, tech, or VC ecosystem

✓ Bangalore-based or fully available for the week of events

✓ Writes, posts, or shoots, not just a lurker

✓ Authentic, not brand-managed, we want real takes

✓ Likes in-person events and can help make the day run smoothly

What you'll do as a Basecamp Local

1. Cover sessions and venues your way: photo, short video, whatever format you actually make well

2. Post live as the week unfolds (threads, stories, recaps) with your real take

3. Be the person who catches the moment in the room: the quote nobody clipped, the idea that hit differently, the exchange worth saving

4. Send a quick field note to the Basecamp team each day: what you saw, what landed, what didn't

5. One end-of-week roundup. The definitive "here's what Basecamp was actually about"

6. Own a session or venue for the day. You're the one who knows what's happening and makes sure it runs that way

Why become a Basecamp local

1. You're in the room where the best conversations actually happen

2. Everything you make goes out under your name, credited across Basecamp and into the Elevation network. Your work directly reaches the founders, operators, and investors this week is built around

3. "Covered Basecamp 2026" is a credential. Being embedded in something real with real stakes is different

4. You're selected alongside 14 other sharp creators working across different corners of the ecosystem. The cohort is part of what you're signing up for

5. You get into the pre-event briefing with the Basecamp team before anyone else knows what's coming

6. The connections from the week don't expire when the week ends. You're in the builder network for good

7. Everything you create is yours to keep
